1. Introduction

Welcome to Three Strand Ceremonies operated by Morris and Nanette Ricks. By booking services, completing a consultation form, enrolling in premarital preparation, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Three Strand Ceremonies provides faith-centered wedding officiant services, premarital preparation guidance, and marriage covenant coaching for couples seeking to build strong marriages.

2. Services Provided

Services may include but are not limited to:

• Wedding officiant services
• Premarital guidance or marriage preparation sessions
• Compatibility assessments
• Ceremony planning consultations
• Customized wedding ceremony scripts
• Marriage covenant coaching

All services are designed to support couples in preparing for marriage through a biblical and covenant-focused approach.

3. Consultation Policy

Initial consultations may be offered to determine compatibility and discuss service needs.

Completion of a consultation does not guarantee booking. Three Strand Ceremonies reserves the right to decline services if:

• The couple does not align with the values of the program
• Scheduling conflicts occur
• Required preparation sessions are not completed

4. Booking and Deposits

To secure your wedding date:

• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
• Dates are not reserved until the deposit and signed agreement are received.

Remaining balances must be paid according to the payment schedule outlined in your booking agreement.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of services.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Client Cancellation

If a client cancels services:

• Deposits are non-refundable: 
• Payments made beyond the deposit may be refundable depending on the timing of cancellation.

Rescheduling

If the wedding date must be changed:

• Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the new date.
• Rescheduling fees may apply.

6. Premarital Preparation Requirement

Some officiant packages may require couples to complete premarital preparation sessions prior to the ceremony.

These sessions are designed to help couples address important topics such as:

• Communication
• Conflict resolution
• Financial stewardship
• Spiritual unity
• Covenant commitment

Failure to complete required sessions may result in the officiant declining to perform the ceremony.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information during consultations and assessments
• Obtain a valid marriage license according to state law
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions
• Maintain respectful communication throughout the process

Three Strand Ceremonies is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete paperwork or licensing issues.

8. Faith-Based Approach

Three Strand Ceremonies provides Christian covenant-based marriage preparation and ceremonies.

While all couples are treated with respect and dignity, services are conducted according to the biblical marriage principles that guide this ministry and business.

9. Limitation of Liability

Three Strand Ceremonies provides guidance, coaching, and ceremony services intended to support couples preparing for marriage.

However:

• We do not guarantee marital outcomes
• Our services are not a substitute for licensed therapy, legal advice, or professional counseling

Couples seeking clinical counseling should consult a licensed professional.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials provided through our services, including:

• Workbooks
• Assessments
• Ceremony scripts
• Marriage preparation guides

are the intellectual property of Morris & Nanette Ricks and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

For example, materials used in marriage preparation teachings such as “25 Ways to Damage Your Marriage in 365 Days” remain part of the educational content created by Morris and Nanette Ricks. 

11. Privacy

Information collected through consultations, assessments, and forms will be used solely for:

• Service delivery
• Communication
• Marriage preparation support

Your personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.

12. Photography and Media

Three Strand Ceremonies may request permission to use photos or testimonials from ceremonies for:

• Social media

Clients may opt out at any time.
